The Grand Haven Charter Township Finance Department processes all of the financial transactions for the approximately eight million dollar annual budget of the township and invests all cash reserves.

In addition, the Finance Department collects property tax monies for all local taxing jurisdictions. For 2008, the amount of monies collected for each of the local taxing jurisdictions were as follows:

Grand Haven Area Public Schools - $4.794 million
Ottawa County Intermediate School District - $3.699 million
Ottawa County - $2.9 million
Grand Haven Charter Township - $2.302 million
Loutit District Library - $723,000
Tri-Cities Museum - $164,000
North Ottawa County on Aging - $162.000
